  • Chapter 92 ~ A glowing hoof

With the administration for the docks sorted Tayy has some free time to join his chums in the pub and hear the tails of the Pegasus.  Madoc on the other hand had been spending the last few evenings training in a new career as his god had found his actions so far unworthy.  He had received a message that he needed to help one enemy defeat a more powerful foe and had decided martial training was the best route to achieve this.  Flendac gave him his spare magical sword meaning Madoc now had two of the most powerful weapons we had recovered.  He also borrowed cash from the others to get the magical boots that were still in stock at Rickard's shop.

Heading into the pass we went looking for the Peagus.  We met a few merchants and the Teller bounty hunters coming back to town (watch out Sarah!) before reaching Hernan's cave.  He was friendly with Flendac but did not want the rest of us to stay around.  We carried on to the Orc Tribe and got information from them that we had already come too far.  Heading back north we finally saw the beast and Madoc used his new boots to fly after it and find where it went.  This turned out to be the forest near Serrig!

Next day we all met up in town and headed out to find a flying horse.  Some bandits did accost us but where so intimidated by Flendac they fled without a battle.  Eventually we found the Pegasus and Flendec was able to calm it.  He found a Skaven Warpstone in the hoof which Tayy was able to remove.

We hoped this had freed the creature from what ever was compelling it to steal children.  Madoc then took the lead we had attached and the pair flew to the forest near Mortensholm where he released it.

Flendac got the blacksmith to make some iron boxes for the warpstone to be put in.  This still left the mystery of where had the children gone...
